ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

The Etosha Pan is a vast shallow depression 139km by 50km. Thousands of wild animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, amongst others are attracted to the area. Birdlife is prolific with 326-recorded species. |
NAMIB DESERT - SOSSUSVLEI

| The Namib Desert is the oldest desert on earth. The gigantic 275m high red and grey sand dunes are the highest in the world while the Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world. Most of the 200 species of plants that occur here depend on the mist from the Atlantic Ocean for survival while the animals have also developed ingenious methods to live in this harsh climate. |
