Skeleton Coast
The Benguela Current continues to travel along the coast past this point and brings with it plankton-rich waters and massive amounts of fish. Nearby at the Cape Cross, erected in 1486, one can find a seal colony. 50 000 seals gather here to feed on the fish attracted by the rich plankton.
