When to go…

While winter nights can be cool, Zimbabwe’s weather is generally very warm with temperatures rarely exceeding 33° C or falling below 7° C. Summer days (November to February) are the hottest and this is also when most of the rain falls.

Victoria Falls
Zimbabwe is home to one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The famous Victoria Falls plunges100m (330ft) into the narrow Zambezi Gorge at a rate of 550 million litres every minute.

Hwange
Near the Victoria Falls lies one of Zimbabwe’s largest parks. Hwange National Park holds a large variety of animals and birds. At some waterholes, platforms are erected from which one can observe game closely. The Park is one of the last great elephant sanctuaries in Africa.
