Victoria Falls

One of the world’s grandest natural spectacles, Victoria Falls is called “Mosi-oa-Tunya” by the locals – ‘the smoke that thunders’. The spray from the falls can be seen from 50km (30 miles) away and typically rises to a height of over 400m (1 300ft), sometimes twice as high. It is this spray that the rainforest of Victoria Falls National Park grows in. The walks along the cliff are in constant shower and cloaked in mist.
